Empower Beyond Coaching
Support for when something feels hard, heavy, or stuck, and you're not sure why.
You do not need the right words to be here. You do not need a diagnosis, a label, or a clear story to seek support. If something feels hard to carry, that is enough.
You will find support here if
You don't need to know whether what you've experienced counts as trauma. You only need to know that something doesn't feel right.
Mindset coaching, explained simply
Mindset coaching looks at how your thoughts, beliefs, and internal responses affect how you feel, react, and make decisions.
When someone has lived through prolonged stress, pressure, control, or emotional harm, the mind often learns to stay in protection mode. This can show up as overthinking, self-criticism, emotional shutdown, or being constantly on alert.
Mindset coaching helps you notice these patterns, understand why they developed, and learn how to respond with more choice and steadiness.
This is not about positive thinking or pushing yourself. It is about understanding your internal world so it no longer runs you.
What this is, and what it is not
You will not be required to recount every detail of what happened, or share more than you choose. Sessions focus on the present, on understanding patterns, and on building steadier ways of responding to life. Support is offered within clear professional boundaries, with respect for your pace and capacity.
If you are not yet ready for one to one coaching, Breaking Free Within, the online course below, offers a gentle starting point where you can begin in your own time and at your own pace.
Ways to work together
Everyone arrives at a different stage. Some are ready to begin one to one. Others prefer to start quietly, in their own time. There is a place to begin that fits where you are. Each pathway is shaped by The Foundation Framework™, my structured approach to understanding what formed your beliefs, recognising patterns, and rebuilding with greater truth, choice and self-trust.

The structure beneath the coaching

Most personal development starts with what people can see. This starts underneath, with what your life is built on.
One idea holds it together: you cannot build a strong future on a false foundation. A false foundation does not mean you are broken, or to blame for what happened. It means some of the beliefs you have carried, often formed through pain or survival, were never strong enough to hold the life you are trying to build.
How the Framework worksThe Six Foundations™
Blueprint
What shaped me?
Understanding what formed how you see yourself.
Bedrock
What am I built on?
Looking honestly at beliefs and patterns.
Cracks
What are my patterns showing me?
Reading them as information, not fault.
Truth
What is actually true?
Testing a belief instead of accepting it.
Rebuild
How do I build differently?
One real change at a time.
Legacy
What will I pass forward?
What stops with you, and what begins.
The Foundation Framework™ brings together trauma-informed coaching practice, lived experience, and practical tools developed through my work with clients.
What you can expect
There are no promises of quick fixes or total transformation. The aim is to help you feel more grounded, clear, and able to navigate life with greater awareness.

Common questions
No. Coaching is not therapy and it is not crisis support. Therapy often works with the past and with diagnosis and treatment. Coaching works with the present, helping you notice patterns, build steadiness, and respond with more choice. Where another form of support would suit you better, I will say so honestly.
No. You will not be required to recount every detail of what happened, or share more than you choose. We focus on where you are now and where you would like to get to, at a pace that feels manageable for you.
One to one coaching is available online, or in person in Birmingham. Many clients choose online for flexibility and privacy. We can talk through what suits you best in your consultation.
Faith can be included where it is meaningful and welcome to you. It is never assumed or imposed. For some, faith is a source of strength. For others it is not, or has been a place of pain. Both are fully respected.
You do not need to work this out on your own. The free consultation is exactly for this. We talk through where you are, what you are hoping for, and which pathway fits, with no pressure to commit.
It is a relaxed, no-obligation conversation. A chance to talk things through, ask questions, and see whether we feel like the right fit. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to prove.
One to one sessions are generally 60 minutes, with a longer 90 minute session at a key point in each programme. Group sessions in The Rebuilding Room run for 90 minutes. Your flagship programme also includes flexible sessions you can use across the twelve months, arranged around what works for you.
Yes. Payment plans are available for individual coaching, so cost does not have to be a barrier to getting the right support. We can talk through the options together in your consultation.
Coaching may not be suitable if you are currently in immediate danger, experiencing an acute mental health crisis, or in need of specialist therapeutic or clinical treatment. Where another form of support would be more appropriate, I will tell you honestly and encourage you to contact a service better suited to your needs.
